The one where I celebrate Holi for the first time!

We were excited when my school friends invited us to our first Holi celebration in Arizona! So we met up with Yash, his sister Gia and their parents and my Grandma and Grandpa to see what’s it was all about. Everyone….it was amazing.

For those of you that don’t know, Holi is the Indian celebration of the start of Spring. There’s food, dancing and colors. Lots of colors. Colored water and powder are smeared upon everyone to pay homage to colorful Spring!

We had fun chasing everyone around and painting both kids and adults! Can’t wait to do it next year!
